More Information:
The third drive kit is a new product
for 2006 and has been tested to work with many of the Dell Dimension
systems. As with any new component, additional power will be consumed
and heat released into the case. In most cases, this should not be an
issue, but if you are concerned, please read the results of the
heat testing

- Third drive bracket: designed to mount
to the existing bracket and computer case made of sturdy 0.035” thick
galvanized steel
- Y power cable:
Splits the power cable to bring power to the third drive.
- All necessary screws: 6-32x4mm for
the hard drive and 6-32 x 0.25” used for mounting.
- Illustrated installation instructions
- NOTE: in addition to the third hard
drive, you may need an IDE cable and PCI controller card if your computer is
using all four devices available on the mother board. iResolved sells cables
here, the controller card must be purchased
separately.

systems: Dell Dimension B110, 2300, 2350, 2400, 3000, 4600, 4700 and OptiPlex 160L and 170L Mini-Tower (not compatible
with the Dimension 2100 or L Series)

Complete package: The kit includes everything you need to mount the
third drive.

Stable design: This design uses 3-point mounting: a tab that slides
into the case, and two screw attachements: one to the computer case and the
other to the primary drive.
